Washed Sand: With the addition of a wash plant at our Groton location in 2009, McClure Construction now has the ability to offer our clients washed sand.  Having some of the strictest state testing specifications of any material, makes having high quality washed sand essential when doing your project.  To ensure our clients receive the highest quality product, we take our material from the Groton Reservoir, wash it through our wash plant and test it frequently, to make sure it is always up to Connecticut specifications.  Road Sand, Bedding Sand and Stone Dust: McClure Construction also has bedding sand, road sand and stone dust at its Groton pit, located at Gate 18 on Buddington Road.
